Dr. Angela Larery

Larry Pollock and Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Angela Larery, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, to our team. Dr. Larery will be working as our fellow in Clinical Child and Pediatric Neuropsychology.

Originally from Missouri, Dr. Larery graduated from the Department of Clinical Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine at the University of North Texas in August 2007. Her Ph.D. had a concentration in Clinical Child, Adolescent and Pediatric Psychology. Dr. Larery completed her internship at IWK Children’s Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Prior to obtaining her doctorate degree, Dr. Larery worked as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology for 3 years and as a cognitive therapist at Cooks Children’s Hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Dr. Larery enjoys working with children and adolescents (ages 3-18) and specializes in two areas; the assessment of neuropsychological impairments such as traumatic brain injuries, HIV, brain tumors, seizure disorder, developmental concerns, cognitive impairment, ADHD, and learning difficulties; and the assessment of emotional/behavioral issues, including general behavior management and parenting concerns. Dr. Larery is skilled in the treatment of children with emotional, social or behavioral issues and uses behavior therapy and a family systems approach, engaging parents in the treatments, including teaching positive parenting techniques. Dr. Larery will also facilitate assessment and treatment of adult patients with neurocognitive impairments.
