Laura Haden

Laura Haden is a native of the Houston Metropolitan area.  She has her Masters in Behavioral Science and is a Licensed Psychological Associate.  Laura is our most experienced examiner, specializing in neuropsychological evaluations.  She has worked with our practice off and on for over 15 years.  She is quick, clear, concise, and accurate in her assessments of clients.  She has considerable training in assessment with our practice as well as hospital-based programs and school-based programs.  She has worked for the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB), The Institute for Rehabilitation & Research (TIRR), and a special education Co-op.

Laura has administered emotional and cognitive assessment to children and adults who have developmental disorders, learning disabilities, have survived head trauma, and other neurological illness for a variety of agencies including the Texas Department of Rehabilitation Services, educational and residential treatment facilities, physicians, and attorneys. The reports generated after the assessment presented the client’s emotional and cognitive functioning and implications to social, academic, and vocational settings. The reports also provided recommendations for remediation of deficits, the need for psychotherapy or cognitive rehabilitation, and suggestions for modification in the classroom or work setting.
